On Sunday, December 10, 2023, information of an accident was given by the management team of Ghanaian artist Denning Edem Hotor, better known by his stage name Edem, to the general public.
According to them, a few hours after Edem’s appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz, his vehicle struck a pedestrian on the George Walker Bush Highway.
The rapper “narrowly escaped a near-fatal accident as described by the Tesano Police Service’s MTTD division,” according to Edem’s management. A nude lady unexpectedly crossed the musician’s path during an accident on the George Walker Bush Highway on Sunday, December 10.
His management went on to say that Edem was lucky to be unhurt despite his car overturning following the collision.
However, in a recent interview on Hitz FM, Edem has opened up on his accident again as he reveals he lost most shows during that period but has appreciated life more.
He said:
After the accident, I appreciate life differently now. After the accident, every promoter cancelled our events in December 2023.
