Ghanaian sports analyst and media personality Kwame Dela, also known as the Fishbone, in a recent submission has revealed the weird thing he will do when Barcelona FC of Spain wins the treble this season.
FC Barcelona and three other giants of Europe keep alive the hope of winning the treble (league, cup, and Champions) in 2024-25. Real Madrid is one of the two still in the ‘race’ for the treble that has yet to achieve it, as both Barça (2009, 2015) and Inter Milan (2010) have accomplished it this century. The other contender is Paris Saint-Germain, a club that continues to dream of its first Champions League title.
Barça leads the LaLiga standings with 66 points after 29 matchdays, showcasing very attractive and offensive football, characteristic of Hansi Flick’s teams. Their lead over Real Madrid is 3 points, and their attack, led by players like Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha, has been devastating, scoring 82 goals so far.
The culés are also already in the Copa del Rey final after eliminating Atlético de Madrid in the semifinals (5-4 on aggregate). They will face Real Madrid on April 26, 2025, at La Cartuja, a match that could define their path to the treble. In Champions, Barça has advanced to the quarter-finals with a spectacular streak of 8 victories and only 1 draw, where they will meet the current tournament runner-up, Borussia Dortmund. In the ‘semis,’ they are set to face Inter Milan or Bayern Munich.
Their dreams of winning the treble this season could be highly possible, but Kwame Dela says otherwise and even promises to go bald with beards also shaved if Barcelona is able to win the treble as expected.
