This is not ingratitude – MC Portfolio defends Stonebwoy amid Prince Tagoe claims
Entertainment pundit David Germain aka MC Portfolio has defended Stonebwoy, arguing that refusing certain demands from senior figures should not be mistaken for ingratitude.
His comments come after Prince Tagoe accused Stonebwoy of being ungrateful despite all the help he gave to him in the past, revealing how he invested heavily in his career during his formative stage.
Weighing in, Germain said public figures often face pressure from influential individuals who expect loyalty in return for earlier support.
“If you ask me to do something suspicious, I will turn you down respectfully. That does not mean I’m ungrateful,” he stated.
He stressed that genuine support should come without hidden expectations.
“If you want to help, come clean with no ulterior motive. Don’t feel entitled to people because you once supported them,” he added.
Germain also urged people to respect the growth of those they have helped, noting that relationships should evolve without pressure or control.
