Adina Thembi Ndamse, better know in showbiz as Adina, the Ghanaian singer and songwriter, has revealed how she manages to be a trouble-free musician in the nation.
Her main goal, she claims, is to make music, with her staff keeping her in control. “They make sure I don’t get myself into any kind of problem that would cause me to lose focus.
”
“I have a great staff that treats me nicely,” she told Kojo Manuel on Y 107.9 FM’s Dryve of Your Lyfe Show.
They make sure that the ugly part of me does not show, and I appreciate that.
She added that she feels it is her responsibility as an artist to entertain and provide wonderful songs to her audience, not to stir up controversy.
“So our major emphasis is to make music, and while we’re doing other things, we don’t pay attention and concentrate the camera on other things that aren’t important. There is a genuine world out there, believe me. I don’t want you to miss out on the hard and wild stuff, but I do want you to enjoy this part of myself. Perhaps when the time comes, I’ll reveal my wild side, but for now, let’s just enjoy the music,” she stated emphatically.
