Shatta Wale, the well-known Ghanaian artist, has suggested that the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) and the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) require a president similar to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In a recent statement on his own social media account on the major social media network, Facebook, he stated as much.
This comes after he was informed that he would earn GHC 30,000 in royalties from GHAMRO for all of the songs he has created during his career.
Given how these two institutions have been working recently, he implied in his piece that only someone like the Russian president could make them operate properly.
The post he made reads;
“I wish Putin was our musigha president and Ghamro head 😂
StubbornAcademy”
