Some music fans complained that Shatta Wale’s record “Cash Out,” which he released to celebrate turning 38, sounded too much like one of Burna Boy’s songs.
Others said that Burna Boy’s popular song “Las Las” was sampled by the Ghanaian Dancehall king.
The individual in question clarified that there is nothing wrong with sounding like the musician he referred to as his brother in response to the accusations that caused some critics to make fun of Shatta Wale.
Recalling their former friendship, the two artists had an admirable one. Together, Shatta and the Nigerian musician created this.
However, things took a turn for the worse in late December 2021, when Shatta Wale and Burna Boy exchanged disparaging tweets with one another.
In a recent interview with Sammy Flex on CTV, Shatta addressed the claim that Burna Boy sampled songs. He confirmed that there is no animosity between them by passing a joke about the circumstances, much to the astonishment of many.
“You saw two brothers, and one of them is singing in unison with the other. Have you ever encountered a family that wasn’t identical? He is my brother, so if I and he both sing and he takes the left and I take the right, we are both exhausted. In Ghana, there are many performers who can sing like someone. People aren’t condemning me for singing like my brother, as you claim, because I have a brother, he said.
