Following Yaa Pono's diss song to Sarkodie, which dominated Thursday's social media debate, Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese expressed his thoughts in a tweet.
On January 27, Kwaw Kese used Twitter to chastise an anonymous artist for “spending time” criticizing other musicians who are far more successful than them and instead emphasizing their skills.
On January 25, Yaa Pono released a song titled “Yard,” which music fans claim is a jab at Sarkodie, better known by his stage moniker “Landlord.”
A portion of the lyrics have been taken as a jab at rapper Sark, who recently received recognition with a cameo on the cover version of the late Bob Marley's beloved song “Stir It Up.”
Taking to Twitter, Kwaw Kese wrote:
“If you diss someone who's ahead of you in everything, you're wasting your time. Use that energy to better yourself.”
