Before Ghanaian trapster Sherif Ismail Mohammed Frimpong, better known as Black Sherif (Killa Blacko), was crowned the well-deserved artiste of the year for the 24th edition of the prestigious music award scheme in Ghana, he was raced against gospel sensation Piesie Esther.
The gospel fraternity was praying greatly for Piesie Esther against the Konongo Zongo boy, but it couldn’t work out.
However, in his first interview, after he was handed the prestigious award, Black Sherif made it known that the statement that ‘the church was against the street’ in finding the artist of the year is wrong because he thinks it was just us versus us, meaning he didn’t have any competition.
