Bradley Kevin Marchand ( born on May 11, 1989), is a pro Canadian ice hockey left winger. He plays and captain the Boston Bruins of the Nationl Hockey Laegue.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, to Kevin and Lynn Marchand, he grew up in a hockey-mad family. His father, a former junior hockey player, and his mother, a coach, influenced his passion for the sport. Marchand, a skilled and competitive player, quickly established himself in the sport.

 Brad Marchand, a former NHL player, played for various minor hockey teams in his youth. He was drafted by the Moncton Wildcats in 2004 and played for two seasons before being traded to the Val-d'Or Foreurs in 2006.

 He then played for the Halifax Mooseheads before turning pro. Marchand was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut in 2010. He is married to Brittany Marchand and has two children together, as well as a stepson from his wife's previous relationship.
