1999 saw the birth of famed Norristown, Pennsylvania, high school basketball star Cam Reddish. After graduating, he pledged to join RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson on the floor as a collegiate basketball player for the Duke Blue Devils. Reddish joined the Atlanta Hawks after being selected by them with the tenth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

He was chosen by the Atlanta Hawks with the tenth overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft following his declaration. In October 2019, Reddish made his NBA debut. In December 2021, he scored 36 points, a career-high. Reddish was dealt by the Hawks to the New York Knicks in January 2022 in exchange for Kevin Knox II and a protected first-round selection.

 Reddish was dealt to the Portland Trail Blazers in February 2023 after missing the remainder of the year due to a right shoulder injury. In July 2023, he made his Los Angeles Lakers debut with a 17-point and 3-rebound performance. Reddish was one of the best players in the 2018 class and a five-star recruit. Mr. Pennsylvania Basketball was given to him.
