Jacqueline Denise Welch is an English actress, television personality, writer, and broadcaster known for her roles in Coronation Street, Waterloo Road, and Hollyoaks. She began her acting career at age 12 and has appeared in various productions, including There's a Girl in My Soup and The Glass Virg, and gained fame in 1993 when she appeared as Marsha Stubbs in ITV's drama series Soldier Soldier.

Welch was the subject of This Is Your Life in 1999 and appeared on a celebrity version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire in 2008. She also participated in a documentary on BBC One's Playing the Part.  

In 2023, she played the late Queen Elizabeth II in Diana: The Musical. Welch has also appeared in various films and TV shows, including The Real DIY Show, Soap Fever, and 10 Years Younger.
