Quarterback Nick Mullens plays for the Minnesota Vikings in American football. He is the grandson of Ernie Tabor, who played in the minor league system of the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1950s, and was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and raised in Hoover, Alabama.

He joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 to serve as a backup quarterback. As Jimmy Garoppolo’s backup, he participated in one game in 2019. He joined the 49ers in 2020 for a one-year deal, then in 2021 he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. He inked contracts with the Vikings for two more years in 2023 after also signing with the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders in 2022.
