Afua Asantewaa Aduonum Finally Breaks The Guinness World Record For The Longest Individual Singathon
On Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 9:10 a.m., Afua Asantewaa Aduonum of Ghana finally broke the record for the longest individual singing marathon set by the Guinness World Record.
Indian singer Sunil Waghmare set the record in March 2012 when he sang for 105 hours.
Abby Awuni, who has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to help Afua accomplish this amazing feat, shared the wonderful news earlier on her Facebook page.
She continued by saying that by singing for a few more hours, Afua is currently attempting to set a record that will be hard for anyone to surpass.
Afua’s journey to break the above record started at midnight on December 24 and just as expected she has finally broken the record afte singing non-stop for a little over 4 days.
The entrepreneur and brain behind some of the beauty pageants in the country has been performing solely Ghanaian songs back to back at the Akwaaba village where an number of Ghanaians including A-list musicians and politicians have been passing through to support her.
She has also received a lot of support from Ghanaian social media users who someone sworn a hidden vow to deal with anyone who tries to say anything foul against what Afua Asantewaa has been doing.
