Mateusz Rutkowski ( born 18 April 1986) was a Polish ski jumper who won a gold medal at the 2004 World Junior Championships individually and a silver medal with the team. Born in Skrzypne, Poland, he was considered the most talented Polish ski jumper and Adam Małysz's successor.
Rutkowski won the gold medal at the World Junior Championships in 2004, setting a record of 104.5 meters on Bjørkelibakken hill in Stryn, Norway. He also jumped over 200 meters during the World Cup competition on Letalnica in Planica. After problems with alcohol, weight, and lack of discipline, he was thrown off the Polish national ski jumping team and trained only at his club Wisła Zakopane.
