, born on December 30, 1990, is a Mexican masked professional wrestler who is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Ring of Honor (ROH). He has worked with Impact Wrestling and has also worked on the side for various American and Mexican independent promotions.

He began his career on the Mexican independent circuit in 2005 and signed with AAA in 2011, where he became the inaugural AAA Fusión Champion in 2013. He later worked for Lucha Underground, becoming the inaugural Gift of the Gods Champion in April 2015 and winning the promotion's top title, the Lucha Underground Championship. Fénix has held the Lucha Underground Trios Championship, making him the first wrestler in Lucha Underground to win all three championships.

After leaving AAA in September 2016, Fenix changed his ring name to Rey Fénix (“King Phoenix”), Fénix el Rey (“Phoenix the King”), and now to its current form of . In AEW, he is a member of Death Triangle and has won the AEW World Tag Team Champion and AEW World Trios Championship.

Rey Fenix Career

Fenix began his professional wrestling career in 2005 as Máscara Oriental, working for Mexican independent promotions before joining Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. He became the AAA Fusión Champion in March 2013 and later won the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship in a four-way match.

He also won the AAA Cruiserweight Championship in a six-way ladder match and the AAA World Tag Team Championship in a four-way elimination final.

Fenix returned to Japan in 2013 to work a tour with Pro Wrestling Noah, aiming for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship. In April 2016, he returned to Japan to participate in Akebono's Ōdō promotion, where he was defeated by Pentagón Jr. Fénix's career was marked by a successful career in the Mexican independent circuit and a strong rivalry with Los Perros del Mal leader El Hijo del Perro Aguayo.

The Lucha Brothers, consisting of Fénix and Pentagón Jr., signed an All Elite Wrestling (AEW) contract with the Young Bucks in 2019. They faced off in a brawl at the All Elite Wrestling Ticket Announcement in Las Vegas, losing their AAA World Tag Team Championship.

They formed Death Triangle, forming alliances with Eddie Kingston The Butcher, and The Blade. Fénix failed to win the AEW World Championship but won the AEW International Championship.
