Senegalese football superstar Sadio Mane’s 18-year-old wife, Aisha Tamba, has spoken out about their recent union and stated that she is not drawn to the footballer’s notoriety or wealth.
The Al NAssr player married Aisha Tamba on January 7 in Keur Massar, a Senegalese neighborhood of Dakar, in an Islamic ceremony.
Given Mane’s prominence as a multi-millionaire football player who earns an astounding £650,000 per week, the union garnered a lot of attention.
In a statement conveyed through a relative, Aisha shared her perspective on her new life:
“I am looking forward to my new life, and I know that it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me because I’m not interested in them. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.”
