The famous Nigerian musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has revealed some shocking information regarding his father’s fortune.
The Grammy candidate said in an exclusive interview that he was oblivious to his family’s enormous wealth until he was thirteen years old.
“All this talk about being rich; my dad is very disciplined.
He’s quite different; you can tell he’s a very disciplined man.
I didn’t know we had money until I was 13. Despite being a billionaire, my dad was driving a Honda Accord, I’m telling you,” he stated.
“Let me tell you how I knew he was lit. Something happened in Nigeria, in the area where we lived. There was a mistake, like a bomb blast happened and many houses got destroyed. It happens in America, but something blew up.
“Our first house, from my birth until around age 11, was a big compound with a bungalow. When that incident occurred, we had to leave immediately because the house got so messed up,” he emphasized.
