Dwight Ramos is a Filipino-American basketball player, who currently plays for Levanga Hokkaido in the Japanese B.League.

He was born on September 2, 1998, in California. Ramos played college basketball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and has also represented the Philippines national basketball team.

Ramos was recruited by Coach Tab Baldwin to play for the Ateneo de Manila University’s Blue Eagles, while he was still in high school.

Dwight Ramos played for the Cal State Fullerton Titans basketball team during his time at Fullerton campus of California State University and the Broncos of California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.

After playing for the Cal State Pomona Broncos, Ramos went to the Philippines to play for the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP but had to serve residency in 2019 before he could suit up in official games. He played for Ateneo in the Philippine Collegiate Champions League, helping the team win the 2019 league title.

Ramos signed a contract with the Toyama Grouses of the Japanese B.League on September 10, 2021. He played for the team during the 2021-22 season, which ended with the team finishing 7th in the west conference.

After that, he joined Levanga Hokkaido in May 2022. During his first season with the team, he averaged 10.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. On June 6, 2023, he signed a contract extension with Levanga Hokkaido.

Apart from playing at the club level, Ramos has also represented the Philippines on the international stage. He was included in the national team roster for the 2023 FIBA World Cup. Despite challenges posed by the pandemic, Ramos has remained committed to representing his homeland. He continues to inspire aspiring basketball players both at home and abroad.
