Controversial Ghanaian social media personality turned Lyft driver, Afia Schwarzenegger has sparked a social media uproar by advising Ashantis against helping Kofi Adoma with his health problems.
In a video she posted, Afia Schwar argued that since Kofi Adoma chose to align himself with the Dormaahene, he should now look to him for assistance.
She claimed that any Ashanti contributing to Kofi Adoma’s GoFundMe was betraying their own people and even went as far as to curse those who decided to help him.
Afia Schwar further stated that Ashantis who donate will face a lifetime of misfortune and curses.
Kofi Adoma suffered an eye injury last December while covering an event for the Dormaahene, when a musketeer fired too close to his face.
Since then, he has been receiving medical treatment in Dubai, undergoing multiple surgeries, with more expected.
To cover the costs of his medical procedures, Adoma has launched a GoFundMe campaign.
However, Afia Schwar maintains that due to his connection with Dormaahene, who frequently criticizes the Asantehene, no true Ashanti should support his fundraising efforts.
