Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the General Overseer of Action Chapel International, has praised President John Mahama for his capacity for forgiveness and urged him to continue being a strong leader.
During the President’s Fellowship with the Clergy on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre, Archbishop Duncan-Williams stated that he had seen the President’s character over the years and believed he was a leader who did not harbor resentment.
“Mr. President, you are an example of such a sort since I have seen you in authority before, even during your time in Parliament. “I observed your demeanor,” he remarked.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed individuals betray, hurt, and disrespect you. We have discussed a few of them. You are not biased. Whether you are in administration or opposition, you still have common sense and don’t take revenge.
The Archbishop emphasized, “Please don’t change; stay that way.”
He also cautioned government personnel against abusing their position of responsibility to exact personal retribution, citing dire repercussions when such behavior occurs.
