Ghanaian musician Mzbel has publicly expressed admiration for President John Dramani Mahama, describing him as her celebrity crush.
Speaking in an interview, the outspoken singer said she finds the President attractive and appreciates his personality.
“President Mahama is my crush… he is very handsome, the way he is tall and the way he talks,” she said.
Mzbel, a known supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), was quick to stress that her comment should not be taken beyond its context.
She explained that her remarks were based on admiration rather than any personal or romantic implication.
Over the years, Mzbel has been linked by public speculation to the President, claims she has repeatedly denied, insisting their relationship is purely professional.
The “16 Years” hitmaker maintained that expressing admiration for a public figure does not carry any deeper meaning beyond personal appreciation.
