Ghana’s head coach, Carlos Quieroz, has admonished Ghanaians to suffer to gain.
According to him, in order for the Black Stars to win, the fans will have to pay the price by suffering, and therefore, the earlier they learn about this, the better for them.

He was speaking to the media after Ghana’s win over Panama in their first Group L game in the 2026 World Cup.

On what he told his players after the first half he said “It was to suffer against a great team, they know how to play, they know how to do things.
