Gospel singer Empress Gifty has been unveiled as the latest brand ambassador for Verna Mineral Water in a new partnership with Twellium Industrial Company Limited.
The unveiling ceremony marked the beginning of a collaboration that will see the singer associate her public profile with the mineral water brand and its health-focused initiatives.
Speaking at the event covered by Zionfelix.net, Empress Gifty said she was “truly humbled and honored” by the opportunity to become the face of Verna, describing the brand as more than just water. She said Verna represents “purity,” “health” and “Ghana’s pride.”
She also pointed to Verna’s endorsement by the Ghana Medical Association, its low sodium content and balanced pH as some of the qualities that influenced her appreciation of the brand. According to her, Verna’s commitment to its Changing Lives initiative also made the partnership particularly meaningful to her.
Empress Gifty said the collaboration was a “perfect alignment of value” because she believes in excellence, health and making an impact.
The gospel singer further expressed gratitude to the management of Twellium Industrial Company for the confidence placed in her, stressing that she did not take the opportunity for granted.
She said she was looking forward to working with the company to promote healthy hydration while contributing to efforts to change lives “one bottle at a time.” She ended her remarks by encouraging consumers to “stay hydrated with Verna.”
The unveiling also offered Twellium Industrial Company an opportunity to highlight the growth of its operations since its establishment in 2014.
An official of the company explained that Twellium began with four key products, namely Rush Energy Drink, Verna Mineral Water, Planet Drinks and Bubble Up. He affectionately described Verna as “the baby of the company” while speaking about the brand’s development over the years.
According to the official, Twellium has since expanded significantly and now produces about 50 SKUs across various categories. Its beverage portfolio includes Verna, Rush Energy Drink, Planet Drinks, Bubble Up, Rasta Choco Malt, Run Energy Drink and BiGoo drinks in different flavours.
The company later moved into the confectionery sector with the introduction of Mcberry Biscuits. The official listed products such as London, Breakfast, Timu and High Fiber biscuits, as well as cakes and Twist cupcakes, among the products now available under the company’s expanding portfolio.
Twellium also ventured into food products through the H&H brand, which includes rice, cooking oil, sardines, canned beef and spaghetti.
The official said the company’s broader objective was to win the confidence of Ghanaian consumers while expanding its presence across the confectionery and food sectors. She expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for accepting the company’s products and supporting its growth.
Turning specifically to Verna, she stressed the company’s strong belief in the mineral water brand and its place in the Ghanaian market, saying that when consumers think about hydration and bottled water in Ghana, “it’s Verna mineral water.”
