Government Petitioned To Ban Wendy Shay’s New “Heat” Song
A group of people has apparently petitioned the Ghanaian government to prohibit Wendy Shay's new song “Heat.”
Wendy Shay and her Shay Geng released a banger called “Heat” a few days ago. The song is presently doing well, with fans appreciating the music and participating in the artist's heat challenge.
Yesterday, a piece from one of the daily newspapers, “Publisher,” emerged on social media, capturing a front-page article that drew a lot of attention. “Government petitioned to prohibit Wendy Shay's song Heat,” ran the headline.
The reason for the petition is unknown, however, some social media users have speculated that it may be due to the words Wendy used in her song that the government has been petitioned to prohibit it.
The song's lyrics allude to the country's present hardships, as well as how the economy and inflation are causing residents to suffer in order to obtain money to survive. Wendy Shay, the artist, and her management have yet to comment to the circulating publication.
