Forson was born on October 24, 1984, in Mankessim, Ghana. She received her early education at Wilmore Elementary School in Kentucky, where she completed first grade.Her family relocated to Ghana when she was nine years old, and she completed her schooling at Akosombo International School. She also completed her senior school studies at St. Louis Secondary School in Kumasi.
