Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was spotted training his heart out in a recent video we captured on social media.
The video was filmed at a time when the prolific striker was really practicing some shoot-outs, and it comes as the Black Stars’ World Cup opponents for the tournament in Qatar were unveiled.
Ghana will face past European champions Portugal, Uruguay’s Luis Suarez, and Asian powerhouse South Korea.
After going viral, Asamoah Gyan’s video attracted a variety of responses from social media users. Watch the video below to learn more.

Some reactions from Ghanaians are;
GhanaianPlayers – We should add Asamoah Gyan to the squad if he stays fit and plays actively
We cant afford for Cristiano Ronaldo to break Gyan’s record
@minkaeric – Reminds me of the comeback of Maradona in 1993
@quame_age – Chairman is getting ready for World Cup
@GBlewusi – He should rest, I am personally very grateful for all he has done, I doubt we will ever get a good striker as good as he was, ever again, but every good story must come to an end
@uosmayne – He should work harder and have a team to play in competitively
@PaaJeff23 – Kept laughing so hard while watching this video, I can’t tell why
