Popular Ghanaian photographer and drone pilot, Seyram, has made an assertion on his official twitter page saying 's influence on the world can not be matched by any artist, whether dead or alive.

Michael Joseph Jackson was an American singer, composer, and dancer who lived from August 29, 1958, through June 25, 2009. He is known as the “King of Pop” and is considered one of the most influential cultural personalities of the twentieth century. His contributions to music, dance, and fashion, as well as his publicized personal life, established him a global icon in popular culture across a four-decade career. Jackson impacted musicians with many kinds of music; through stage and film performances, he popularized intricate dance techniques like the moonwalk, which he named after himself, and the robot. He holds the record for the most awards given to a single musician in history.

Jackson, the eighth child of the Jackson family, made his professional debut in 1964 as a member of the Jackson 5 alongside his elder brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, and Marlon (later known as The Jacksons). While working at Motown Records, Jackson launched his solo career in 1971. With his album Off the Wall, released in 1979, he established himself as a solo artist. His music videos, like as “Beat It,” “Billie Jean,” and “Thriller” from his 1982 album Thriller, are credited for breaking down racial barriers and converting the medium into an art form and advertising tool.

With videos for the albums Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), and HIStory: Past, Present, and Future, Book I, he contributed to MTV's popularity and continued to innovate (1995). Thriller went on to become the best-selling album of all time, and Bad was the first album to deliver five number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

With over 400 million recordings sold globally, is one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

He was the first performer to have a top-ten hit in the Billboard Hot 100 in five separate decades and had 13 Billboard Hot 100 number-one singles (more than any other male artist in the Hot 100 period).
