“If Only It Will Be Accounted For, I Have No Problem With E-Levy” – Kwesi Arthur
In an interview on his album listening, Ghanaian rapper, Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, better known as Kwesi Arthur, shared his thoughts on the yet to be implemented E-Levy tax the government wants to charge.
According to the Son of Jacob crooner, he has no problem with the government taxing the citizens, but his only worry is whether they can really account for what the taxes are used for so that we can all bear witness.
He revealed that we are living in a digital world now, so the government should just find a way that everybody can just come online, login, and see how much is obtained from tax and what it is being used for.
However, Ghanaian music producer and the current Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture has urged Ghanaians in the diaspora who have a voice and are listened to most to sell out the country in a positive way rather than being like Twene Jonas.
