In the last moments of Ghana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup encounter against South Korea on Monday, November 28, Asamoah Gyan, the former captain of the Ghana Black Stars, was on pins and needles.
In the last seconds of the game, the award-winning player, who is presently serving as a commentator for Super Sports for the World Cup, was unable to remain seated.
Asamoah Gyan was seen pacing back and forth in the Super Sports studio as the game entered its dying minutes, according to footage that has since emerged online.
Every time the Koreans appeared to have scored a goal against the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan was also visible in an agitated state.
All of his worries and agitation were unfounded, though, as Kudus Mohammed’s goal gave the Black Stars a 3–2 victory to seal the victory.
However, Ghanaians used to refer to the striker as a player, which hurt our hearts even though all we wanted was for them to win.
