The self-proclaimed queen of Ghanaian music, Wendy Asiamah Addo, better known as Wendy Shay, admitted it was a wonder how her record label boss, Bullet got her started in the music business.
“Entry into the music business was mysterious.” “I just showed up there, and no one saw me coming,” she said.
Wendy Shay said in an interview with Bryt TV that she had never lived the life of an underground artist or anything else and had instead unexpectedly entered the scene with a single hit song.
“Uber Driver” was my first song when I arrived. I had just been introduced by Bullet on the VGMA main stage, and within a month I had become well-known. It’s difficult to understand me because I have always been like that; it’s just who I am. Even about myself, I am always learning new things, which is fascinating and great. Wendy Shay threw in
“My character has developed.” “Since an enigma is anything that is difficult to comprehend, I refer to myself as an enigma since I am incomprehensible to others,” she insisted.
