I Was Nearly Poisoned Few Days Ago – Skrewface Reveals

Veteran Ghanaian hip-life sensation Skrewface has related a story about how he almost died from poisoning three days ago.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Monday, February 27, 2023, the “Gbalagazaa” hitmaker revealed that four unidentified males he met at a bar planned to murder him.

He claimed that the incident occurred after he left the joint to get a drink after leaving to play basketball.

“I went to play basketball, and when I was done, I went to get a drink at a bar because I'm that lonesome guy. I want some alone time to myself so I can work. I just got my drink, so I was wearing my nose mask to stop others from making out with me,” he remarked.

He went on to say that he heard four males calling his name just as he had poured roughly half of the drink [into the glass].

As the guys complimented him and his music extensively, according to Skrewface, he overheard some of them fighting with a khebab vendor behind him.

He added, “As soon as I turned and came back, I could see they had placed something in my drink.” I turned back to check what was going on.”

The singer said, “The boys told me to wait for a bit when I wanted to take a sip of the drink.” He clarified that they most likely told him this so the medicine they had added to the drink would dissolve properly.
