I Received At Least 3 Slaps From Every Police Man At The Bhim Concert – Sammy Kay Recounts
CEO of Sammy Kay Media and staff of Peace FM, Sammy Kay has recounted happenings that led to his experience with police brutality at the 2018 edition of Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert.
Sammy Kay who spoke on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda News Review, revealed to Sammy Flex that he received at least 3 slaps from every policeman he met from the auditorium of the Fantasy Dome to the area beyond the car park.
According to him, a police man who thought he was taking a video of Asamoah Gyan, while in truth he was taking a video of Sammy Anim (Asamoah Gyan’s manager), approached him and asked him to delete the footage. The police man however did not allow him explain himself because according to the policeman, he was being challenged.
“I was explaining to the police man that I am a media person but he said I was challenging him and he slapped me. I am not proud to say, but I slapped him back”, he told Sammy Flex.
“It turned into an exchange of blows, and when other police guys came to find out, the police man told them I beat him. Other angry police men came and beat me. From the inside of the Dome to outside of the car park, I received at least 3 slaps from every police man I met”, he added.
Sammy Kay was reported to be brutalised at the Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert which happened at the Fantasy Dome in Accra on 28th December, 2018
