“Awards In Ghana are Given To Underserved Artistes” – Wendy Shay Claims

Wendy Shay, the Ghanaian singer, has claimed that certain artists are granted accolades even though they do not deserve them.

This assertion was made in an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM, which Dklassgh.com was listening to.

According to the singer of “Uber Driver,” the Ghanaian music business has two sorts of artists.

She made the distinction between in-the-industry artists and in-the-industry artists. Wendy Shay identifies herself as a performer in the music industry.

The industry’s stars, she claims, are the people’s favorites—and they are pampered.

While she works hard for her achievements, the Rufftown Records musician claims that industry stars are awarded prizes even when they don’t deserve them.

As a result, she stated that she did not want to spend her fans’ time voting at the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, where she was nominated.

Wendy Shay went on to say that she knew she wasn’t going to win.

Meanwhile, on behalf of all Ghanaians, comedian Lawyer Nti apologized to former President John Dramani Mahama.

The actor behind “Kejetia Vs. Makola” has apologized for the insults directed against Mahama during his time in government.
