My ambition has always been global dominance — King Promise

I’ve had lots of advice from different people to boycott VGMA – King Promise

Ghanaian musician, King Promise has spoken in favor of artists that want to dominate the world stage while also having an impact locally.

He says since the first day he heard R2Bees “Slow Down” he knew that was the kind of song he wanted to produce to be a global music icon.

King Promise who made this revelation to Bola Ray in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM said “That has always been the goal from the very start. From the very first time I heard R2Bees Slow down I said this is the type of person I want to be.

If I’m making music, I want to make music that cuts across not just Ghana but the rest of the continent and the rest of the world. I’ve worked towards that and at this point in life it is beautiful but for me, this is only the beginning,” he told Bola Ray.
