Freshly admitted medical students from the Ketu North Constituency who have secured admission to public universities in Ghana are set to receive scholarship support covering a minimum of 50% of their tuition fees.
The initiative, announced by Eric Edem Agbana, targets students admitted through the regular admission stream and forms part of efforts to support higher education within the constituency.
The special scholarship round is open to students who are constituents of Ketu North and have been newly admitted to study Medicine at any public university in Ghana.
According to the announcement, applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements to qualify for the support. They must be newly admitted medical students, have gained admission to a public university in Ghana, and have been admitted through the regular admission stream.
Eligible students have been directed to submit their admission letters and contact details via WhatsApp to 0531 900 360. The announcement specifies that the number is strictly for WhatsApp communication and applicants should not make calls.
The scholarship team will review and verify the information submitted by applicants before providing the support. According to the announcement, tuition fees for successful applicants will be paid within 48 hours after confirmation.
The initiative is being promoted under the hashtags #InvestInKetuNorth and #TheKetuNorthProject.
The scholarship support comes as newly admitted medical students prepare to begin their university education, a stage that often involves significant tuition and other academic expenses.
