Bishop Ajagurajah Urges Men to Marry Multiple Wives to Secure Bloodline

Founder and leader of the Ajagurajah Movement, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, has sparked heated debate after urging men to marry more than one wife.

In an interview with GhPage, the outspoken spiritual leader argued that men who depend on only one woman for children put their bloodline at risk. He explained that if the children from one marriage do not turn out well, the man’s legacy could be lost.

“Assuming a man procreates with only one woman and the woman’s stomach produces only vagabonds, he’s doomed,” Bishop Ajagurajah said. “That is why a man should marry many women to secure his lineage.

His comments have drawn mixed reactions. Critics say his advice is outdated and encourages polygamy in an era where many societies promote monogamy and equality in marriage. Others, however, view his stance as a reflection of traditional African customs, where multiple marriages were once considered a sign of wealth, strength, and continuity.

Bishop Ajagurajah is known for making bold and unconventional statements on matters of faith, culture, and lifestyle. This latest comment adds to his reputation as one of Ghana’s most controversial spiritual figures.
