Pupils and Teachers at Dzodze Tornu RC Basic School could not hide their joy after members of Dzodze Youth Club and Ohemma’s Outreach donated sets of exercise books, sanitary pads, pieces of school cloth and pairs of sandals to the school.
The gesture is to support academic work in the school and empower the pupils to be committed to learning and self development.
Ohemaa’s Outreach is a philanthropic Organisation involved in supporting schools in rural Ghana. The joint gesture was initiated by members of Dzodze Youth Club whose aim is to cultivate a favorable culture of growth and prosperity among citizens of Dzodze in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region.
Receiving the items, the Head Teacher of the School, Mr Maxwell Kwao thanked the group for their benevolence.
