MC Portfolio emphasized his divinely appointed role as Kumasi’s guardian of entertainment in an exclusive conversation with Nana Romeo on Accra FM.
He saw himself as a reliable and vital resource for artists and stakeholders working in the area, rather than just a well-known name in the business.
“God has blessed me in such a way that any artist wanting to undertake a project in Kumasi must go through me.”
MC Portfolio used his crucial assistance in enabling Shatta Wale’s “Ahodwo Las Vegas” project debut in Kumasi as evidence of his impact. He disclosed that in addition to helping with artist selection and strategic choices, he was also the project’s public relations head.
“I was the public relations officer when Shatta Wale wanted to start his Ahodwo Las Vegas project, and Andy Dosty made me the guy to contact for any project in Kumasi.
I was able to establish a connection with Shatta Wale at that point by offering him certain names.”
