Mr. Logic, the outspoken Ghanaian entertainment analyst, has stated that everyone involved in church events should be compensated for their efforts.
According to Mr. Logic, anybody who provides a service to the church must be compensated for their efforts because they all contribute equally to the church’s growth.
Mr. Logic stated in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz that Christians have been indoctrinated by their pastors, making it appear like every duty they render in the church is for the love of God, and as a result, they are not being paid for their services.
He also argued that people who serve in crucial roles in the church, such as ushers, singers, instrumentalists, and other church stakeholders, should be excluded from paying tithes and offerings because their energies are already being used to serve the church.
He also stated that because some pastors get compensated for their services, other members who contribute to the church’s growth should also be compensated.
Mr. Logic declared unequivocally that tithes and offerings do not go to God, as men of God believe, but rather to the pastors’ bank accounts, which they use to fund their extravagant lifestyles.
