Ghanaian female singer Jackeline Acheampong, better known as Gyakie, has revealed that she only dresses in ways that make her feel comfortable and has little intention of exposing flesh.
Gyakie claims that she does not want to subject herself to the strain of wearing an attire that would be unpleasant.
I just wear what makes me comfortable,” she stated when speaking to GhanaWeb reporter Paula Amma Broni at the recently concluded Mozama Disco performance organized by Black Sherif.
What I’m wearing is what keeps me going.
“I don’t want to dress in ways that will make me feel the tension and other negative things.” So whether it looks nice or not, I wear whatever makes me feel comfortable.
She also expressed gratitude to the performers and fans who attended her birthday celebration performance in December.
“That has to be the finest birthday present I’ve ever received; I was overjoyed.
” “To celebrate with my fans, hear them sing along to my songs, and see all these major performers walk the stage,” she said in closing.
