“I Chose To Continue My Call As A Rapper Even Though I Had Many Reason To Give Up” – Lyrical Joe

The resilient nature of his early days in the industry has been credited by Ghanaian rapper Joseph Gamor, better known by his stage name Lyrical Joe, for his current success.


In a conversation with presenter Brown Berry on Y107.9FM’s Ryse N’ Shyne, Lyrical Joe stated that he has been steadfast since his beginning and has rejected any thoughts of quitting.

Early in his career, he compared them to an unborn kid that he might choose to either terminate or raise into something extraordinary and significant.

“All of this can come to an end at some point, particularly if you feel like giving up.

Consistent work is like giving birth to a fully developed human being. Simply giving them a pill may put a stop to it, or you could keep it going and bring out the greatness in them.

“

He also mentioned how early in childhood he felt called to music, especially rap music, and how he persevered to become a master in the relevant fraternity. “As soon as I started, I recognized my responsibility as a rapper for Ghana, and I put a lot of effort into it.

I understood that I needed to keep writing and honing my talent.
