Congratulations to US based Ghanaian musician, Francis Odartey Lamptey, known in showbiz as Jamin Beats, who scooped two awards at the 2021 Ghana Music Awards,USA over the weekend.
The Maplewood based star won ‘US-Based Afropop Artist of the Year‘ Award and and US-Based Producer/Sound Engineer of the Year respectively.
Jamin, defeated Jayhover,DJ Asumadu, Kaykay Amponsah, Young Theoryy, Oboy Murphy, Clem Biney, Archipalago and Pierre Porter in the US-Based Afropop Artist of the Year category, to emerge the winner.
Lastly, For the US-Based Producer/Sound Engineer category , he defeated top sound engineers and producers such as MOG Beatz, Willis Beatz, Dr Ray, Kaywa, Kayso,Gomez Beats and DDT.
Jamin won US-based ‘Uncovered Artist of the Year‘ at the 2020 edition of the Ghana Music Awards, USA.
Born in La Dza We, Accra he relocated to the United States of America in September 2014.
Since he relocated to the United States he has continue to be active in music, releasing singles, some of which includes: Me Twi, Sugar Mama, Bumper, Love You More, etc
