In the latest interview with Joy Sport’s Owuraku Ampofo, Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah has disclosed how badly he wants to play against Portugal and Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo after his encounter with Argentine Messi in Paris.
According to the young defender who played a vital role in the world cup qualification process for the Black Stars of Ghana, Gideon Mensah revealed that Messi gave him waist pains when they met earlier this season, but he’s looking forward to facing Ronaldo in the World Cup.
Messi, according to the defender, is someone else, and his sharp turn caused him waist pain a while ago.
However, Gideon Mensah (born 18 July 1998) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who is on loan from Red Bull Salzburg and plays as a left defender for Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.
He is a member of Ghana’s national squad.
