On Monday morning, the greatest news making the headlines was a 3-story uncompleted school building, often used by worshippers, collapsed in Accra New Town on Sunday, March 29, 2026, after heavy rain, causing at least three deaths and trapping dozens.
Emergency services, including police and NADMO, rescued over 20 survivors, with ongoing efforts to clear the rubble.
The structure was previously marked for demolition.
