Fern Britton, an English television presenter and author, was born in Ealing, London, England. She started her broadcasting career in 1980 with Westward Television in Plymouth. Later, she joined BBC 1’s Breakfast Time and TVS in Southampton. She then went on to work with GMTV and Carlton Television.
Britton’s association with ITV began in the late 1990s when she started guest presenting This Morning. In 1999, she became a full-time host, leading the show alongside John Leslie and later with Phillip Schofield.
