Nigerian lawyer, politician, and philanthropist Ned Nwoko has revealed that he did not marry actress Regina Daniels out of love.
An old video that has resurfaced online shows Ned explaining the real reason behind their marriage. According to him, he was under intense pressure from his family to marry a woman from his hometown. Despite his efforts to resist, he eventually gave in.
Ned stated clearly that his marriage to Regina was not driven by love but by family expectations. He explained that his relatives insisted he marry someone from his community, and Regina Daniels happened to fit that requirement.
He admitted that many men marry for love, but in his case, he had little choice.
The resurfaced video has sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing surprise at his honesty about the circumstances surrounding his marriage to the popular actress.
“For her particularly, i married her because she is from my place. I wanted a wife from my place i was under pressure from my family”, he said.
