The current assistant coach, John Paintsil, has been regarded by former Black Stars midfielder Charles Taylor as a more suitable head coach for the national team than Otto Addo.
In an interview with Angel FM, Taylor emphasized that developing a relationship with players is more important for coaching than having a high level of expertise. Strong player-coach relationships, he maintained, are essential to success on the field.
“If given the task, John Paintsil is more capable than Otto Addo.
Expertise is not a prerequisite for coaching. How you interact with the players is crucial to winning games,” Taylor said.
