Mr Eazi is the wave of the moment.
He held a sold out concert in December 2016. He won the Headies ‘Next Rated Artiste’ award and Soundcity MVP’s ‘Best new act’. Sometimes Mr Eazi says he’s Kofi from Ghana, other times, he’s Tosin from Nigeria.
He basically switches between the two countries. Yesterday, he tweeted something that had us like: He posted a tweet saying that Ghanaians have had a huge influence on Nigerian music.
2016 Headies Next Rated winner, Mr Eazi is a hot topic on Nigerian Twitter right now. The singer, obviously seeking attention to promote his forthcoming ‘Accra To Lagos’ mixtape Tweeted, ‘Ghana’s influence on present day “Naija Sound” cannot be over emphasized’. Trust Nigerians on social media to give him ‘Dapada’…lol… Mr. Eazi went ahead to say that the Nigerian music has been a major force in the entire African scene.
