Pregnant 2nd wife stabs husband to death over decision to reconcile with his 1st wife
A 36-year-old spouse has been fatally stabbed.
This unfortunate event occurred in the Tashan Tabo area, within the Tafawa Balewa local government of Bauchi State, Nigeria.
According to reports, the woman’s name is Ummi Lukman and her husband has been named Lukman Husaini.
Speaking with newsmen, Abdullahi Jibrin, the deceased’s brother said:
“She had shown signs of aggression in the past few days. We noticed her resentment towards her husband’s decision to bring back his ex-wife.
We went to the scene and found him in a pool of blood, lying dead at the gate, on the way calling for help. She threw the knife she used into the toilet pit. From the bedroom to the compound, everywhere was soaked in his blood.”
He also said she had poured hot water on her husband weeks ago.
He said:
“I had insisted for the past seven days that he should leave her. He divorced her, but she apologized, and he took her back.
But what God has ordained, no one can change. She ultimately killed him.”
