‘Go back to your hometowns and farm; and leave our Land for us’ – Ga Woman to Kantamanto market traders
According to a self-recorded video, a Ga woman has urged politician, Oko Vanderpuije to take back the Kantamanto lands which are for the Ga people.
She claims the traders who are largely Akans and have relocated from the Ashanti and Eastern region have treated them disrespectfully.
She even suggested that instead of continuing to trade on land that is not theirs the traders should pack up and move back to their roots and concentrate on farming.
Following accusations by some traders that the NDC was responsible for the devastating fire that recently destroyed Katamanto and left many traders struggling these remarks were made.
The woman whose identity we are yet to obtain told Kantamanto traders who are not Gas to return to their hometowns to do their business and leave their Kantamanto land for them.
